How long does it take to go live on Odoo?
A focused rollout of two or three apps for a small team can go live in 6 to 10 weeks. A typical mid-market project with five to eight modules and moderate customization takes 12 to 16 weeks from kickoff. Complex multi-entity deployments run 20 weeks or more. Should we use Odoo Community or Enterprise?
Community is free and open source, and it’s a reasonable choice if you have in-house technical capacity and don’t need Odoo’s proprietary modules. Enterprise covers accounting integrations, studio, mobile, official support, and the native AI features introduced in Odoo 19. Once you factor in self-hosting, security patching and rebuilding the modules Community lacks, the real total cost of the two is often closer than it looks.
