How long does an ERP implementation take?
A single entity rollout covering finance and inventory typically goes live in 8 to 16 weeks. Multi entity, manufacturing or integration heavy scope typically runs 4 to 9 months. Timeline is driven by scope, data quality and how quickly your team can make decisions, far more than by which platform you choose.
How much does an ERP implementation cost?
Implementation cost is driven by five things: number of modules, number of entities, how much data has to be migrated and cleaned, how many integrations you need, and how much custom development sits on top. A common industry rule of thumb puts year one implementation services at one to three times your first year software fee. We quote a fixed price after discovery, not before it.
What are the phases of an ERP implementation?
Nine: discover, plan, configure, migrate, integrate, test, train, go live, support. Discovery and data migration take the longest and cause the most overruns. Configuration is usually faster than clients expect. Testing and training are the two phases people cut when a project slips, and they are the two that decide whether anyone uses the system after go-live.
Should we implement Odoo, Acumatica or NetSuite?
It depends on where your complexity sits. Odoo suits teams that want to roll out module by module and are willing to customize. Acumatica suits operations heavy businesses in distribution, manufacturing and construction, especially where many people need light access, because it is licensed on consumption rather than per user.
